Rodrigo Ferreira who was born in Paris in 1951, a few years ago. He is largely based in France, where he trained at the School of Fine Arts in Paris, son of the great painter and illustrator Paulo Ferreira, accustomed us to the exoticism of his poetic landscapes with cities in ruins  lost in the vastness of desert spaces. Today we are surprised by the freshness of the solar atmosphere of a landscape, certainly an evocation of its Portuguese origins. The blue breath of the space contrasts singularly with the pink tone where the tiny notes of white architecture are cut out, a kind of plastic score with a splendid visual effect. Reality here becomes a metaphor for a desire for escape and rupture with a daily life that does not allow fusion with nature and the sense of freedom that transmits to us this space touched by the sun and transfigured by a beauty not only experienced, but dreamed of.
