Terms and Conditions of Sale


These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply between CPS – Portuguese Printmaking Centre, located in Rua dos Industriais, 6 – 1249-023 Lisbon, Portugal, Tax number 501 678 638 and phone number +351 213 933 260, named ahead “CPS”, and those wishing to buy online, in CPS website www.cps.pt, named ahead “User”.

Both parties agree that shopping made through www.cps.pt will be exclusively regulated by the present contract.

These Terms and Conditions of Sale have the purpose to provide the User with all necessary information on order, sale, payment and delivery procedures in www.cps.pt shopping.

These conditions regulate all the necessary steps to place an order in the website and ensure the possibility to follow it between both parties.



The User places an order when he adds the works he wants to buy to the shopping cart, in www.cps.pt.

To finish the shopping process he must:

a) Register in www.cps.pt, and fill the registration form with the information needed.

b) Login (with the previously  chosen email and password)

c) Continue to fill the necessary fields until the end of the order process (delivery and invoice information, payment chosen method, etc).

The User’s final order confirmation means he fully accepts the price and description of the chosen products and also these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the only applicable to the contract therefore concluded.

CPS will satisfy every order depending on the available stock. In case of no stock, CPS will inform the User as soon as possible.

The invoice information is the User’s only responsibility. There will be no possible changes after its emission.

The order is valid for a period of 15 days (except for campaigns mentioning other terms) as well as the referred prices, discounts, promotions and offers.



The User will find in www.cps.pt the following payment methods available:



Easypay is a Portuguese company offering an universal payment platform and it’s certified by SIBS, Unicre, Visa, Mastercard and Paysafecard. The credit card details are sent in a safe way to Easypay server (www.easypay.pt) without CPS access.

a) Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)

b) MB reference (Portugal only). The User can pay his order with a generated MB reference, in ATM machines or Homebanking internet services. If the payment isn’t made within a 5 days period, the order will be canceled.



With Paypal, the User’s financial information is safe and never transmitted to CPS. The card’s number is permanently protected.

In case of credit card payment, the amount will be charged after his order’s confirmation. In case of out of stock the respective value will be credited again in User’s card.



The order can also be sent to the user’s chosen address (residence, workplace, etc – except for PO Box), with associated costs depending on the order’ size or its destination:

The prices mentioned apply to shipping in tubes for Artworks on paper up to 100 cm. For Artworks that require another type of packaging due to their format or other characteristic, CPS will inform the customer in advance by telephone or e-mail, about the shipping charges to be applied.

*values may change, according to order’ size and destination.


The pick-up in one of CPS galleries will be possible after 3-5 working days after order day.

The delivery in continental Portugal by post-office will take place until 5 days after the order confirmation, on the User’s previous chosen address.

In case of Azores, Madeira and international deliveries, deadlines may reach 2 weeks (10 working days). The user will be informed of the predictable date of delivery and should contact CPS in case of not receiving it.

The mentioned prices and deadlines don’t include taxes and customs charges and delays, in case of international shipping.



Mentioned prices are in Euros (€) and already include VAT applied at the date of the order. In case of price increase of any of the products the User will be noticed at short term, and may decide to proceed with the order (paying the difference) or cancel it.

CPS cannot be held responsible in the event of a computer, manual, technical error or error of any other origin, which causes an unforeseen substantial change in the sales price to the public and/or in the membership price shown on the CPS website. Therefore, in these cases, the purchase order will be considered invalid and canceled.


Cancelation and Devolution

CPS will analyze individually each order cancelation or devolution. The user must email his request to contacto@cps.pt the next 15 days after the order’s delivery and CPS answers will be given by the same communication channel.

Every time it’s possible, the refund should be made by the same payment method. If it’s not possible, the User must present valid documents to prove his identity in order to receive the refund through bank transfer.

CPS commits to refund the User in 15 days maximum.

The easiest way to exchange a work it’s in one of CPS galleries. If it’s not possible, the User must return the order in its original box to the following address: Rua dos Industriais, 6 – 1249-023 Lisbon.

The returned products must in good sales conditions, that is, in the same condition that arrived in Users hands, without any damage.

If there’s a difference between the initial order price and the new one, CPS will adjust the values and establish the conditions of refund.


Privacy Policy

User’s data treatment is done according to data protection laws and will be assembled in CPS databases to inform the user with other products and services, as well as institutional information.

The User can always access, change and eliminate every data regarding his person, by writing to the address on this website or visiting one of CPS stores.
