Mariana Branco (b. 1986) and Emanuel Barreira (b. 1986) are part of Halfstudio, a group that develops projects in different areas ideas of creation always presenting lettering and sign painting as a fundamental element.
Its visual language is It is characterized by three-dimensional letters and dynamic layouts, presenting messages in vibrant colors and with an impact on the content. The approach to studio or public art pieces involves contemporary events and ideas and pays special attention to themes that impact the context in which the works are inserted. In this case, it is a tribute to the great exponent of Portuguese surrealism, the painter/poet Mário Cesariny, highlighting one of his most emblematic verses: “Ama como the Road Begins,”in a poetic allusion to the intensity and intensity beauty from the beginning, to the sense of freedom of love.
