Ricardo Passaporte

Ricardo Passaporte (1987), establishes a parallel with Abstract Expressionism, focusing his work on the process of intense gestural expression. His paintings appear to be non-objective investigations of a line that separates painting from sculpture. value to an urban experience, where the material itself and movement are the main focuses of its pieces. His creative processes are just disoriented notes, however the artist clearly cultivates the methods by which he causes coincidences and attempts the unexpected.

In 2015, as part of the 30th anniversary of the CPS, he participated in the exhibition "1/81" at Museu do Côa, for which he performs a work at Atelier CPS.
