Rui Horta Pereira
Born in the city of Évora, in 1975. Currently, he lives and works in Lisbon. Graduated in Sculpture from FBAUL, since 2000 his work has focused mainly on sculpture and drawing, on how the construction of the creative process is not limited to the subject. is disassociated from the action of the creator, in all its ethical, social, environmental aspects, and how this relationship can be achieve it effectively.
He has been exploring and expanding the territory of drawing, to which he has dedicated a substantial part of his artistic and creative research, both in its formal component and in the theoretical reflections that suggests.
Exhibits regularly since 2010. represented in the collections: Collection of the Art Library of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Collection of the Foundation Carmona e Costa, PLMJ Collection, Collection ;o Berardo, Figueiredo Ribeiro Collection, Luís Ferreira Collection, Contemporary Art Collection Tróia Design Hotel, Tiqui Atencio Collection (Monaco), Coleci´n Art Fairs SL (Spain), Carlos Garaicoa Collection (Spain), and Regina Pinho Collection (Brazil).
