FUSION OF NATURE AND CULTURE

Painter and illustrator, the Italian Valério Vidali (born in 1983) has been recognized and awarded in important international exhibitions. His books have been published in several European countries and the USA. The space presented to us in the work now published, a mix of screen printing and engraving, merges images of the Botanical Garden (one of his most frequent sources of inspiration) and the ruins of the Convento do Carmo of Lisbon, the capital's former Gothic church, half destroyed during the 1755 earthquake. Perfect dialogue between nature and culture (architecture) under the sign of the Sacred.
