"Sósia", held on the occasion of the exhibition "Cooling Exercises" by artist Jorge Molder in the CONTENTORES project, is The second screen print in a series that began in April 2011 and whose inaugural theme was combined with the artistic intervention of Architect Francisco Aires Mateus in the project. The edition printed in the CPS studio in May/2011, consists of 50 copies, numbered and signed by the respective entities, P28 and CPS.< br />
Critical notes
This screen printing consists not only of in the replication of Molder's aesthetic language, but also of his own identity through the portrait of a patient at the Júlio de Matos Hospital with visible similarities to the artist. The concept finds redundancy in the screen printing process itself, which allows the infinite multiplication of this "Lookalike", in every sense. In this context, the use of the word written in Braille appears, on the one hand, as a graphic mark composed of the repetition of the unit and, on the other, as a representation of a language that only ; by some it can be decoded.
