Born in Seda, Alter do Chão, in 1961, António Coutinho took the Complementary Graphics Course at the António Arroio Decorative Arts School and the Artistic Design Course at A R.CO - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual.
Besides painting, drawing and graphic work, he is involved in other artistic areas, namely philately.
