Chevalier de Pas is the first of Fernando Pessoa's heteronyms, created in 1894 when Pessoa was just 6 years old.

The artist Pedro do Vale thus pays tribute to the poet with two lithographs (see also "I, the Phantom born of all sensations") with a symbolic print run of 47 copies, corresponding to the years of Pessoa's life.

.

Pedro do Vale (b. 1990) joins the group; great lineage of artists who created iconography inspired by the personality, face and figure of the brilliant and world-renowned poet Fernando Pessoa, from Almada Negreiros, to Júlio Pomar, Costa Pinheiro, Pedro Chorão, Alfredo Margarido, Miguel Yeco and Rico Sequeira, among many others.

In this case the artist offers us a superb image for the first of his heteronyms, the “Chevalier de Pas”, created in 1894 when Pessoa was just 6 years old, traveling the path from childhood to old age adult.
