Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, directed by Loureno Egreja, is a contemporary art center that has been revealing great cultural dynamism in the promotion of the Young Art Prize, exhibitions, conferences, conversations with artists, educational service programs, workshops and guided tours aimed at the most diverse audiences. It takes on an experimental aspect, focusing on the development of the creative process, new artistic languages and interdisciplinarity.

In a collaboration with the CPS, today we are able to appreciate the work of 10 outsider artists and residents of Casa de Saúde do Telhal,
in an expressive statement of styles marked by a great authenticity that emerges from the complete freedom to deal with the most diverse languages to give form to emotions that are “authorized”, or not, by a society that often inhibits the harmonious growth of the personality.
