Artist's Book

Based on the story of an Indian elephant that walked from Lisbon to Vienna in the 16th century, narrated by José José Alves. Saramago in the book “A Viagem do Elefante'', the book-object "Pelas Pegadas do Elefante" is born with drawings by Adão Conde inspired by passages from Saramago's book. In turn, Leandro Morgado's texts depart from these drawings to merge everything into a new narrative.

Printed in silkscreen, with manual binding.
