Born in Lisbon in 1977, only at the age of 40 he left architecture and political consultancy to dedicate himself exclusively to the visual arts.

His work is currently divided between illustration, drawing, cartooning and occasionally graphic design. He collaborates regularly with several regional and national publications such as Tal & Qual.

He is dedicated to exploring various artistic techniques, such as etching or serigraphy. From his education in architecture, the link to line drawing has lasted, which has punctuated his graphic work from early on and continues to structure his work as an illustrator. In his works the application of gold leaf is frequent, he likes to work with traditional techniques, and he loves the detail of drawing nibs, ink and paper.

His work is represented in several private and institutional collections, in Portugal and abroad.
