Helena Abreu

Born in 1924, in Seia. His academic career included a Degree in Drawing from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto and Universidade do Porto e Coimbra, the Special Painting Course from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes do Porto and the Painting and Fresco Course directed by master D&oacute ;Rdio Gomes. In 1945 and 1946 he received the Rodrigues Júnior Prize. In 1978 and 1980 he received Honorable Mentions at the “Salon des Artistes”, Paris. In 1980 she was admitted as a member of the “Société des Artistes Français”. É author of textbooks for 2nd grade; and 3rd; high school cycle and was awarded the silver medal by the Porto City Council.
