Eduardo Eloy

Born in 1955. He trained at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts, the Calouste Gulbenkian Municipal Educational Center and the Museum of Modern Art – MAN RJ in the years 1976-1981. Today, in Fortaleza, he produces work focused on research based on graphic arts, incorporated with other visual languages, hybridizing drawing, painting, collages, and various materialities, coming from his archives and collected in everyday life. Time, space and memory are also lines of force involved in the thinking of work that finds new relationships in collaborative activities in educational projects, training of young artists and interactivity between artists. relationships with cultural institutions. He has exhibited regularly since 1978 in national and international solo and collective exhibitions. In 1985, he received the Pietro Maria Bardi Special Prize for the 2nd Pirelli Painting Salon – MASP in São Paulo and in 1983, Prize in the mixed technique category at the University of Fortaleza Hall – UNIFOR Plastica.
