Born in 1966 in the small Swedish town of Trollhättan, Camilla Engman lives and works in Gothenburg. She attended the Dome Art School and later the School of Design and Craft, Gothenburg University where she completed her academic training as a Master of Fine Arts.

She is a multidisciplinary artist, using painting, collage and various mixed techniques. Her artistic path includes several individual and collective exhibitions in countries as diverse as the USA, Portugal or Canada. She works and exhibits all over the world.

In the year 2009 she received the Culture Prize of the City of Gothenburg and won a scholarship under the same prize.
