An exhibition of drawings by the architect  álvaro Siza Vieira will be on display. patent at FIG Bilbao – International Engraving Festival in This is part of a project commissioned by the Portuguese Screen Printing Center and the Embassy of Portugal in Spain.

Composed of around 20 drawings created between 1989 and 2022, the exhibition reflects an intimate facet of the architect and aims to make his prolific drawing work known, in the context of the celebration ;on his 90th birthday.

According to Siza Vieira, most of his drawings respond to the specific objective of “finding the form that responds to the needs of the body. function”.

The initiative is part of the CPS's participation in Fig Bilbao for the third consecutive year, where it will present an outstanding set of recent editions. Among them are new works by Pedro Cabrita Reis, Marçal, Christine Enrègle, Hervé di Rosa, Juan Escudero, Federico Echevarría Sainz, Juan Sebastián Carnero, Charlotte Massip, Attilio Chien and  Urtzi Urkixo.
