As part of the solidarity action ART CONNECTS US (A ARTE LIGA-NOS), we are pleased to announce that Centro Portugues de Serigrafia delivered the sum of 7,156 Euros, respectively 3,578 Euros to the Food Bank and equal value to Cerci Oeiras.

ARTE LIGA-NOS was the first post-confinement edition of the CPS and brought together 9 prestigious artists in a collective screenprint: Cristina Ataíde, Gracinda Candeias, José de Guimarães, Leonel Moura, Marçal, Pedro Calapez, Rico Sequeira, Silva Palmeira e Sofia Areal.

It was donated to Hospitals and organizations engaged in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the remaining copies served a solidarity action especially adressed to CPS Members, with the aim of raising funds for the two instituitions mentioned.

On behalf of the institutions benefiting from this solidarity action, CPS would like to thank the Members and customers who participated in this fundraiser, for their valuable contribution!

The initiative received a note of greeting from the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

The screenprint was presented at the National Library on June 29 and was attended by the Secretary of State for Culture, Architect Ângela Ferreira, the director of CPS and the participating artists..

For each work sold,190€ were donated to Food Bank and Cerci Oeiras.
