Critical notes
Following his exhibition at Galeria António Prates (Dec/18 - Jan/19) the Brazilian artistFlávio Rossi(b. 1979, S. Paulo), one of the great revelations of young art in his country, presents us today with a screen print that extends his work on the great legends of Jazz. John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Louis Armstrong, are some of the faces represented around a central figure in the composition, the saxophonist Charlie Parker known as “The Bird”, The Pá ssaro, an element that does not go unnoticed despite the strong chromaticism and dense composition.
