Critical notes
João Galrão, who was born in Sintra in 1975, lives and works in Lisbon. He has exhibited collectively in Portugal and abroad since 1996 and individually since 2003. Difficult to catalogue, his work oscillates between sculpture and painting where he introduces several three-dimensional elements. Pop and psychedelic influences were recognized in his painting in recent years.
