COLOR RHYTHM AND MOVEMENTIN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL SPACE
The young artist Marisa Ferreira who was born in 1983 in Guimarães has lived and worked in Norway since 2008. Her work, which has a Public Art component (in Norway since 2011) was already shown with great success in Portugal and abroad. Between painting, design and installation there is a lot of space to choose from. continuity to the Op art and art Kinetic art and is characterized by the importance that its author attributes to the way in which perception conditions the sensorial and cognitive apprehension of images in space. The creation of Marisa Ferreira is interactive and invites you to spectator participation, “forcing” to assume the different positions in space that are involved in their compositions. In current screen printing, a special edition in 3D, the various possible readings depend precisely on the angle of vision, although in all of them a kind of celebration of color, lines and of the exuberant rhythms that synthesize the life of forms in space.
