The artist worked with Japanese Ginwashi and Kinwashi papers and Lokta paper from Nepal made with natural fibers.

Margarida Lourenço, with a career that has evolved nationally and internationally, graduated from several schools in Lisbon, the city where she was born, but also in Porto, Cascais and Edinburgh and is member of the National Society of Fine Arts and the Etching Engraving Society. Authenticity, refinement, exoticism characterize his works debuting in CPS editions. In the artist's words “what you want to convey is “the time of time with time”, (…) a fog or a silence in which an instant stops and remains eternal”.

The weather is changing. is at the center of the artist's concerns, like a continuous flow that stops in the magic of the gaze that imprisons it, guarding its fascination, its ability to wrap forms in an invisible cocoon that preserves them from all destruction, while still maintaining the delicacy and perfume of the ephemeral.

In the works presented today, the poetry of images returns us to nature in light, daytime, transparent, morning atmospheres, true moments of timeless beauty, captured with a rigor and purity that evokes oriental calligraphy . True prints inviting silence and tranquility. meditation. A theater of shadows, silhouettes that double the charm of the shapes, the light web of blacks and grays, highlighted by blues and reds of the Nepalese and Japanese papers selected for the editions.
