José Francisco Quelhas Serrão de Faria Pereira was born in Golegã, in 1937. At the Portuguese Engravers Cooperative he studied lithography, screen printing and wood engraving.
He created several medals and diplomas for the Ribatejo Fair as well as illustrating several books. In 1976 he launched the book Caballus, made up of Indian ink drawings of horses, published in graphic work by Cooperativa Gravura, Atelier António Winter and the Centro Português de Serigraphy. You are represented in many private collections, national and foreign.
Currently, it is contributor to the magazines Rota das Linhas, Media Roe and the newspaper A Capital. É also Director of the magazine Rédea Curta.
