According to the author's words, in the recent exhibition catalog at Galeria S. Bento in Lisbon “Joana Consiglieri Corpo/Body”, the “quote about the body is a reflection of contemporary thought itself that wanders in an indeterminate Cosmos in which the female body is settles in one place. This place is determined by the work Places, with the body being an absence of itself, ceasing to be and transmuting into a place, as if it were becoming incorporated into the landscape itself.” Games of language and the body, located in space and time, of the body of language, of its rhythms, under the sign of the female body, a metaphor for a life attentive to mystery and transfiguration.
