Born in Porto in 1957. He attended the drawing, painting and sculpture studios at Ar.Co, having completed his training in sculpture in 1985. He is currently studying sculpture. represented in institutions and collections such as: Museu Machado de Castro, Coimbra; Santa Maria da Vitória Museum, Batalha; Coordinating Committee for the North Region, Porto; Almada City Council; Mário Soares Foundation, Leiria; Albufeira City Council; Presidency of the Republic of Uruguay; Iwate Park, Japan; Amsterdam Museum of Modern Art, Amsterdam. In 1999, he received the 1st Award from the Association Internationale des Artes Plastiques / UNESCO.
