Born in Tallinn, Estonia, Vera Fonseka has lived in Portugal for the last 15 years. twenty years. Degree in Fine Arts – Painting, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon, in 2014. He has exhibited since 2011 in various spaces and institutions across the country: collective exhibition “FABLAB, Experimental Protocol”, National Museum of Portalegre (2014); solo exhibition “Semi Automatic Sweet”, Galeria António Prates (2014); and “ARTLAB – Symbolic Protocol”, Galeria FBAUL, Lisbon (2016).
In 2017 she was invited to participate in the PA-REDES festival in Lisbon. É currently a resident artist at SAFRA (Arts and Entertainment), and is currently a resident artist at SAFRA (Arts and Entertainment). artist represented by Galeria António Prates since 2015. is also represented in private collections in Portugal and abroad, namely Estonia, Angola and Moçambique.
In 2023 he completed his Masters in Clinical and Health Psychology, at FPUL - Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon, developing the therapeutic studio project, combining painting work with Clinical Psychology, with the aim of improving the mental health of participants.
