Born in Viana do Castelo in 1955. His work is well-known in the areas of Painting, Illustration, Graphic Design, Comics and Photography. He exhibited individually in several Portuguese galleries and participated in several international fairs. He illustrated for several newspapers, magazines and publishers, having been published by publishers such as Assí Alvim, Campo das Letras and Afrontamento. It is currently Artistic director and editor of comics for cinema at the Associação de Cinema AO NORTE in Viana do Castelo and holds seminars in art schools.
