Teresa Pato was born in Lisbon in 1965. degree in Painting from the Escola Superior de Belas-Artes de Lisboa (1990). Between 1996 and 2005 he participated in various workshops related to the engraving technique. In 2000, together with other engravers, he founded the Associação de Gravura Água-Forte. He currently works, in parallel to teaching activity, artistic activity within the scope of Engraving and Illustration. He has held exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, namely in the Netherlands, Poland, Japan, Canada , USA, Brazil and France. In 2000 he received the City of Amadora Prize, - Acquisition, VII Biennial / I International Engraving.
