Rui de Sousa is author, painter and illustrator. He has been developing work in the field of book illustration for the Ministry of Education (Department of Secondary Education - school manuals), Texto Editores, Editorial Caminho, Areal Editores among others, since the year from 1988.

Of his various publications we highlight "The Story Telling Fish" - children's comic strip; "Humi and the Great Iceberg Voyage" – children's comics; "Treasure Bay" – illustrated children's book; "The Secret of the Stone" - illustrated children's book. Its curriculum also includes painting, drawing and illustration exhibitions.
