Paco Aguilar was born in 1959, in Malaga. Visual artist, he presented his first painting exhibition in 1979. At the age of 21, in addition to his abundant pictorial production, he works with woodcuts, lithography and illustration. É It is at this age that he has his first contact with metal engraving, and just a year later he heads Gravura, his own engraving studio in Malaga. É from this Atelier that develops its work in the field of original graphic work in different lines of activity, from its own editions to the teaching and promotion of techniques. É Today it is an unavoidable reference in Spanish engraving.

He has held more than a hundred solo exhibitions, as well as numerous group exhibitions, nationally and internationally.

He has been distinguished in numerous competitions and his work is found in important collections, such as the collection of the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum.
