Born in Almada, in 1963. degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon.

Since 1992 it has been Founding partner of the International Sculpture Center in Pero Pinheiro where, from 1993 onwards, he began coordinating Introductory Sculpture Courses. Stone Sculpture.

He has exhibited individually since 1987, in Lisbon, Braga, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and Brazil. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Portugal and abroad.

He was awarded several prizes: 1986 – Honorable Mention, ESBAL Exhibition, 150 Years of Art in Portugal. 1988 – Honorable Mention at “Arte Jovem”, Galeria do Casino do Estoril. 2nd. Prize in the “Monument of the Termal Hospital, Caldas da Rainha” Competition. 1989 – 1st. “Salão Primavera” Award, Estoril Casino. Honorable Mention, “Salão Primavera”, Casino do Estoril. 1996 – Honorable Mention, II Edinfor Sculpture Prize, Casino do Estoril. It is represented in public and private collections in Portugal and abroad.
