Marta Fermin was born in Oviedo, Asturias, in 1973. She trained as a superior technician in engraving and printing techniques, at the Escuela de Arte de Oviedo between 1993 and 2001.

Between 2004 and 2012 he taught engraving at the Universidad Popular Gijón. Between 2005 and 2010 she was artistic director of the Alfara and Alfara studio art room.

Right now it is Artistic director of Lithografia Viña, where she has worked since August 2012.
