Maria Condeo was born in Évora. In 1987 he graduated in Painting from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa.

He has exhibited, throughout his artistic career, in several galleries and cities, among which we highlight:

1994 – Évora Museum, collective exhibition.

1995 - Teoartis Art Gallery, Évora, solo exhibition.

1996 – Engraving Course in New York under the direction of Cláudio Juarez, with his works currently on display at “The Printmaking”.  Participated in the 1st Engraving Biennial in Évora.

1997 – Exclusive Art Gallery, Carnaxide, solo exhibition.  “Visual Education”, Palacio dos Anjos, Oeiras, collective exhibition.

1999 – Fitares Art Gallery, Sintra, solo exhibition.  Pousada Nossa Senhora da Assunção, Arraiolos, individual exhibition.  2ª. Évora Engraving Festival Biennial.  Engraving Workshop at the University of Évora, under the coordination of engraver Humberto Marçal, integrated into the Évora Engraving Festival 1999.  Engraving Course at Print Workshop, Tavira, with Professor Bartolomeu dos Santos.  Abrantes Municipal Council Art Gallery, solo exhibition.  Pousada D. Afonso III, Alcácer do Sal, individual exhibition. Hotel Melius, Beja, collective exhibition.
