Luis Fega

Born in 1952, in Piantón, Asturias, Spain. Self-taught painter, he exhibited for the first time at the Círculo Mercantil de Santiago de Compostela. The works of this period are characterized by the use of a brushstroke marked with a lot of matter. In 1983 he obtained a grant for young artists from the Ministry of Culture and in 1987 another grant from the Principality of Asturias. In the 80s he was part of the Galego Atlántica group, like Menchu Lamas and Antón Patiño, his paintings are articulated through sober forms and muted chromaticism. He participated in several editions of the ARCO Fair in Madrid, and the Feira Estampa in Madrid, Spain, as well as in numerous collective and individual exhibitions. You are represented in numerous public and private collections.
