Born in Lisbon and divided his residence between Mozambique, Angola and India. He attended the Escola Superior de Educação de Arte and began exhibiting in 1969, at the Festas do V Centenário de Vasco da Gama, in Mozambique. He founded three children's schools, as well as the “Grupo Pitágoras” and his work was distinguished with several Honorable Mentions. In 1987 she was elected “Painter of the Year” by “Mulheres” represented at the Museum of Modern Primitive Art in Guimar´es, at the International Museum of Naïve Art in Jaen and in several private collections. 
Ló practices “naive” painting, a term that derives from the original “naives” and which means naive. This painting, practiced since the beginning of the 20th century by artists such as Henri Rousseau, does not, in general, cultivate aesthetic or theoretical concerns and is therefore close to the ; popular art.
