Natural from Manteigas, the artist has tried to reconcile his inclination towards the visual arts and writing with activities in the areas of agriculture, beekeeping, associations, sport and politics, having been member of the Santa Maria Parish Assembly and deputy in the Manteigas Municipal Assembly.

He was the founder and chronicler of “Noticias de Manteigas”, having already worked as a journalist. published the books “Corropios, Cardinchas and Cães Grandes” (2012), “Devil in Figure of People” (2013) and “Casino, Amores e Traiões2 (2014).
