Born in Beira, Moçambique in 1954. Graduated in Painting, from the Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa. Since then, he has held several solo exhibitions in Portugal and group exhibitions in Portugal, Luxembourg, France, Japan, Belgium and Croatia. The presence of the human figure is essential. This is a constant in his works, whether through their insertion in everyday urban and rural environments, or through their inclusion in invented architectural spaces.
