Fátima Frade Reis

Fátima Frade Reis lives and works in Lisbon, took the Advanced Course in Plastic Arts at Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicaão Visual, Lisbon between 2014 and 2016 and an individual fine arts project in 2017. He has a master's degree in Computer Engineering and Telecommunications, Multimedia profile, from ISTA – ISCTE - IUL, completed in 2008.

The artistic career of Fátima Frade Reis has been created based on a very personal interpretation of the craft and the processes of using space and color in fabric and paper.

He has exhibited numerous times individually, with emphasis on the most recent exhibitions such as “Nem of one type or another”, at the Geological Museum, in Lisbon (2018),  ;"Cruzamentos", (in duo), at Espaço AZ, in Lisbon (2018), "A Rota da Seda", (in duo), at Centro Cultural de Macedo de Cavaleiros, in Macedo de Cavaleiros (2018 ), “Cross and bend”, at the Municipal Auditorium of Freixo de Espada at the entrance. Cinta, in 2019,  “Line and color”, at the Silk and Territory Museum, Freixo de Espada at the city center. Cinta (2019), “Weaving space”, at the Museu Nacional do Traje, in Lisbon (2019-2020) and   A question of lines”, Arte Graça Galeria, in Lisbon (2020 ) Among other exhibitions, he participated in the JCE Biennale - Young European Creation (Montrouge, Paris, France, 2019), and also received the Young Art Prize Millenium BCP for Carpe Diem, in 2019.
