Carlos Barroco was born in Lisbon in 1946, the city where he lived and worked.
He attended the António Arroio School of Arts and in 1988 received a scholarship from the S.E.C.
He is represented in the collection of Caixa Geral de Depósitos and in private collections in Portugal and abroad.
Throughout his career, he held exhibitions in the country and abroad, such as in Brussels, Belgium and Italy.
He is cited in the following monographs: Dictionary Portuguese Paintings – Tanock; Painting and Sculpture in Portugal 1940/1980 - Rui Mário Gonçalves; Newspapers and various publications.
He passed away in 2015 in Lisbon.
