Begoña Terradas was born in 1983 in the city of Barcelona. She has degrees in Fine Arts and Illustration and has developed her career as an artist over the last eight years. She has participated in several solo and group exhibitions, notably in Barcelona and Madrid.
In her engravings Begoña presents a world of her own, full of internal spaces and objects. She shows us scenes apparently without a clear meaning, but which are suggestive and arouse curiosity. Still lifes in which everyday objects appear modified or displaced, in which the function and logical order is altered, create mystery and tell hidden stories.
The artist uses a classic, meticulous drawing technique: thin, repetitive lines, to realistically represent a world that has little to do with the normality of everyday life.
