From April 12th, the Colombo Shopping Center in Lisbon, receives a Pop Up Store and an exhibition from the Portuguese Printmaking Centre (CPS - Centro Português de Serigrafia).
The initiative aims to reach new audiences and publicize the work developed by CPS. In addition to works by Júlio Pomar, José de Guimarães, Cruzeiro Seixas and Eduardo Souto de Moura, this exhibition also features pieces by Alexandra Mesquita, Cristina Ataíde, Fabesko, Gracinda Candeias, Ivan Messac, Jorge Martins, Manuel D'Olivares, Marçal, Silva Palmeira and Sofia Areal.
For 32 years, CPS has launched editions of silkscreen, printmaking, lithography, photography and digital art, having in its portfolio both works by the great Portuguese masters of the 20th century as well as young artists of the 21st century.
Movements such as surrealism, pop art or bio art (art inspired by biology) are featured in a collection that brings together more than 2,600 works, from around 500 Portuguese and foreign artists.
In parallel to this exhibition that celebrates the art and the work of CPS, Colombo receives a pop up space, where the artworks can be bought. CPS will also have a Membership campaign with two works of art as a welcome offer to new CPS Members. In addition to other advantages, Members get more competitive prices, discounts on a wide network of partners and access to exclusive artworks.
