Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1967. with a degree in Fine Arts and a PhD in Art and Thought from the University of Fine Arts of Barcelona. In 2003 he presented the thesis “Study of Hermetic Iconography in alchemical treatises of the 16th century”, at the same institution. Among the recognition and support received are: scholarship awarded by the Pilar y Juan Miró Foundation, Mallorca, 1996; scholarship for sculpture from Saint Martins School of Arts, London, 1996; finalist at the Premi Ciutat de Palma, Palau Solleric, Mallorca, 1997/98; scholarship, artists in residence Talleres de S’Hort, Mallorca, 1999; “Dos-Entrecuerpos” Arteleku, Bilbao, 2000; Altadis Foundation Open Spaces Award, ARCO’02, 2002.
His work is part of collections such as that of the La Caixa Foundation and the Ferran Cano Gallery in Barcelona; Galeria Lluc Fluxa and Galeria Marior, Pollensa, in Palma de Mallorca; the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art by Turégano, Segovia.
