Grandnephew of Picasso and descendant of a large family of artists in which he was introduced to the practice of engraving from an early age, Xavier Vilató Lascaux (1958) is painter, ceramist and engraver since 1976. He recently started working as a filmmaker where he incorporates drawing and painting. His graphic work consists of more than 550 creations, from large-format lithographs to lithosculpture miniatures, including engraving in its most varied techniques: Aquatint, manera negra, etching.
