Rouge, La Chambre Noire, La Chateau, La Couleur and Le Corps Jaune are the five extremely beautiful silkscreens that make up this exhibition of works from the Eros Series (1976) by Júlio Pomar, which can be visited - and acquired - in the CPS space at the Centro Cultural de Belém, from today until 2020. January 18, 2009. "The thematic line pursued in terms of Eros began with the series of large-format silkscreens edited by Kami Masrour. In them, the author explores the vividly sensual effect of large areas of flat colors. The same color can appear as the background or as the interior of a figure, receding or advancing, like an elastic membrane. (...) The lines undulate under the joint pressure of the colors strong elements that are adjacent to it. When configuring bodies, they adapt them topologically to the sensuality expressed in this game of lines and colors."
