Born in 1938, in Cascais. He attended the António Arroio School course and received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation under the guidance of the painter Júlio Pomar. His work encompasses various artistic disciplines such as painting, video, installation or performance, with his most recent work focusing on photography.
Between 1958 and 1976 he worked as a creative and designer in several companies, institutions and press organizations, such as Seara Nova.
In 1976 he worked at the Ministry of Culture as a senior technician, where he held various positions linked to the exhibition assembly sector and where he was responsible for exhibition programming ;es or publications.
He has held several solo and group exhibitions and is currently working on his career. represented in several museums and public and private collections in Portugal and abroad.
He passed away, in Cascais, at the beginning of 2015, and donated a large part of his work to the Portuguese community. City Council.
