Born in 1962, in Lisbon. Dedicated to Illustration of children's and young people's books since 1994. Between 1997 and 1998 she received a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and in 1999 and 2000 she was a member of the Jury of the National Illustration Prize. In 1996 and 2003 she was included in the Honor List of the International Board on Books for Young People. In 1998 he was awarded the National Illustration Prize. He participated in several national and international exhibitions. In 2007, she was selected to be part of the illustrators' exhibition at the Bologna Children's Book Fair and appears in the 2007 Bologna Catalog with the illustrations for the book Histórias de Animalis, distinguished with the National Prize for Illustration in 2006.
