Marta Wengorovius was born in Lisbon, 1963. She graduated in Painting in 1988 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon. island Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon. In 1990 he received a scholarship from the Luso-American Foundation for Development in New York, Washington and Philadelphia. He studied and taught at Ar.Co. He was Academic Observer in 1993 at Goldsmith College, London. Coordinated, with Rui Sanches, the Summer Academy for Plastic Artists, General Studies of Arrábida - Convent Conferences, 1994. In 1994, he received the União Latina Painting Prize. É Master in Visual Arts from the University of Évora. É PhD student in Contemporary Art at the College of Arts, University of Coimbra where she develops her thesisOne, two and many.
