Born in El Puente, Ourense, in 1946. He is a painter and sculptor with an abstract tendency. He has received awards and grants, of which we highlight: III Ciutat de Eivissa Painting Prize, First Prize (1986); Ciutat de Palma Painting Prize 1991, First Prize (1992); Painting Grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Spanish Academy in Rome (1998/99); XIII Bienal del Deporte en las Vellas Artes, First Prize and Medal (1999); XV Ciudad de Zamora Painting Biennial, Special Mention (2001); VII Mostra Unión Fenosa, Acquisition of Work (2001); LXII Valdepeñas National Painting Prize, Acquisition of Work (2001); LXIII Valdepeñas International Plastic Arts Prize, (2002).
