Luísa Nogueira

Luísa Nogueira is Graduated in Painting from the Escola Superior de Belas-Artes de Lisboa and in Interior Design from IADE. Graduated in Engraving from the Academie Royale des Beaux Arts, Brussels. From 1974/76 and 1979/80 she received a scholarship from the Secretary of State for Culture, to do an internship in Brussels, where she attended courses in Ceramics (Ecole d'Art d'Ixelles) and Engraving (Academie Royale des Beaux Arts), under You will be guided by professors Claude Lyr, Emile Maens, Francis Brichet, Swyngedau and Jorge Meuran.

He has been exhibiting as a solo artist since 1976, with his first exhibition at Galerie 34, in Brussels, and has already had a successful career. exhibited at the Museu de Angra do Heroísmo (Angra do Heroísmo, Portugal), at Cooperativa de Engravers Portugueses (Lisbon, Portugal), at Museu da Água (Lisbon, Portugal), at Courtyard Alfacinha, “Pintura”, (Lisbon, Portugal), at MAC- Movimento Arte Contemporânea, (Lisbon, Portugal) and at Centro Cultural da Câmara Municipal de Velas (S. Jorge – Açores) .

He also participated in several group exhibitions in large galleries, such as the case of Galeria S.Mamede (Lisbon, 1974), Mettiers d'Art de la Provence du Brabant (Brussels, 1975), Galerie L'Oeil Sauvage (Brussels, 1976), Exhibiçã o Nacional de Gravura - Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian (Lisbon, 1977), Museu Soares dos Reis (Center for Contemporary Art – Porto, 1977), Contemporary Portuguese Art (Belgrade and Athens, 1977), Paper as Support and Current Perspectives on Portuguese Art, Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes (Lisbon, 1983), Cooperativa Árvore (Porto, 1984), Bienal de Vila Nova de Cerveira (Vila Nova de Cerveira, 1984), Galeria João Hogan (Lisbon, 1991), "Olhares sobre o Côa", Vila Nova de Castelo Rodrigo Municipal Council (Foz do Côa, 1998), among It is a route marked by a variety of exhibitions all over the country.

(Lisbon), Assembly of the Republic (Lisbon).
