He graduated in Fine Arts from the Institute of Arts at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1983/85). He took the Dynamics and Engraving Course at the Atelier of the School of Visual Arts in Rio de Janeiro. Between 2004/05 he supervised the metal engraving course at the Engraving Workshop of the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. Currently, he coordinates the metal engraving, monotopy and wood engraving course at the Association of United Artists of Santa Teresa – Chave Mestra - (Rio de Janeiro), of which it is part. Your work is represented in public collections, namely at the Paraná Museum of Contemporary Art, at the Pelotas City Hall, at the Cândido Mendes University in Rio de Janeiro and at the Brasília Museum of Art.  ;
