JOSÉ ESTEBAN (Sigüenza, Guadalajara) has been sharing his literary vocation across publishing, criticism and the novel. useful, for the study of 20th century Spanish literature. A scattered writer, he cultivated the novel, the historical-literary essay and criticism. É author, among many other works, of a basic anthology of the Spanish epigram, as well as of an indispensable “Diccionario de la Bohemia”.
He was and continues to be responsible for and consultant to an endless of editions, especially by bohemian or fin-siècle authors. His literary memoirs, entitled Ahora que Recuerdo, collect more than fifty years of Madrid literary life.
